1 killed, another injured by Jordanian border guards

Border guards on Tuesday killed one man and injured and arrested another as they tried to illegally cross the border from Syria, a source at the Jordan Armed Forces command headquarters said.
It said the military guards acted according to the rules of engagement as they dealt with the latest infiltration which occurred at dawn.
The source also said that some 833 Syrian refugees had crossed into the Kingdom over the past 72 hours.
