1 dies in car bomb blast in Iraq

Two booby-trapped cars blew up in Kirkuk in the southern part of Iraq on Thursday killing one person and wounding 19 others, the Interior Ministry said. Spokesman of the ministry Brigadier Saad Moen said in a statement that one of the car blew up at Al-Nasr neighborhood in central Kirkuk, killing one person and injuring 12 more. Adding that the second car blew up at Al-Wasti neighborhood in southern Kirkuk wounding seven people.
