Moroccan basketball coach, Said al-Buzidi revealed that Morocco's qualification for the African Cup of Nations, in Congo next August, has been well deserved after great efforts by the players despite the difficulties they suffered, expressing his happiness for this qualification.

El-Bouzidi said, in an interview with Arabs Today, that the Moroccan teaة ensured 40% of the chances of qualifying after finishing the game that took place in Algeria with a victory and defeat, adding that the most prominent problem suffered by the players is the news that spread about being non-national because they called the Moroccan Union for giving them their financial dues.

He added that questioning the loyalty of the national team's player has its deep impact on the players, pointed out that they have made great efforts to get the players out of the state of discontent and prepared them for the game by stressing that the Moroccan union is suffering from financial hardship that has caused this delay.

Al-Buzaidi stressed that the players exerted all their efforts and responded to all skeptics through their performance during the two matches against Tunisia and Algeria.

"We gave the key players a comfort in the first meeting against Tunisia in order to use them against Algeria, which was crucial, stressing that the most important achieved, which is to qualify for the African Cup, the Moroccan coach said.

Al-Buzaidi stressed that preparation for the continental finals should start from now, calling for the allocation of a special budget for the national team to cover its expenses and preparations.
