The funeral of Aden Governor General Jaafar Mohammed Saad, who was killed in a terror attack on Sunday, was held in Aden city Tuesday with the participation of Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi and other Arab and Yemeni officials.
During the funeral, Hadi vowed that the perpetrators of the hideous attack will not go unpunished.
He hailed the heroic role of the slain governor who devoted his life to preserving the security and stability of the country.
Meanwhile, Brigadier General Aidroos Qassim al Zubaidi was sworn in before Yemen's President Hadi as the new governor of Aden.
All possibilities and powers will be provided for the new governor to undertake his tasks to the fullest in collaboration with various bodies concerned, Hadi stressed.
