Fierce clashes between Yemeni army, vandals reported in southeastern Marib

Fierce clashes erupted on Friday between Yemeni army forces and armed vandals in a district in southeastern Marib city, a local source announced on Friday.
Speaking to Saba media center, the source said the Yemeni army troops have come under fire from a number of vandals while they were on a mission to secure a road on Harib neighborhood in southeastern Marib.
The gunfire led to the killing and injuring a group of people from the two parties, according to the source.
Military units will be deployed in Al Falj and Harib districts to prevent any vandalism acts or looting in the area, the source asserted.
