Attack on Wadia border crossing in Yemen

A suicide bomber carried out on Friday a car bomb attack on Wadia border crossing in Hadramout killing a soldier and wounding another, a military source said.
A military force started mopping the area to search for terrorist elements involved in the implementation of this terrorist attack, the source added.
The source confirmed that the situation in the crossing is under control and that military units are chasing two other cars of the terrorists, who fled to desert after they were confronted by the military troops.
For its part, the Saudi Press Agency quoted the spokesman for Saudi Interior Ministry Major General Mansour al-Turki as saying that at 11:45 a.m. a security patrol came under fire near Wadia border crossing, which resulted in the killing of the patrol leader.
A security force managed to chase the attackers and exchanged fire with them killing three of them and a fourth was wounded and arrested, al-Turki added.
