Sanaa - Arab Today

Fierce fights continued in the Yemeni city of Taiz Tuesday between the army forces and popular resistance on one hand and Houthi and Saleh militias on the other hand.

Eighteen members of the militias were killed in the fights and seven other injured, media center of the military council said, adding that 4 militia members were captured and four army and resistance members killed.

Yemen has been in state of chaos since the Houthis invaded large swathes of the country including the capital Sanaa, which prompted the Saudi-led coalition to launch attacks on the rebels.
