Seventeen people were killed and 35 injured in a bus
collision in eastern Afghanistan, dpa quoted officials as saying Friday.
'A bus with 46 passengers heading to Kabul from Ghazni province
collided with a Toyota Corolla driving to Ghazni late Thursday in
Nerkh district,' said the office of the provincial governor of
Wardak, where the accident happened.
All six people in the car, including two women, died on the spot, and
11 passengers of the bus also lost their lives.
'Thirty-five others including women and children were injured, with
20 in critical condition,' the statement said.
