Suicide bombers were killed as their explosive device

Four would-be suicide bombers were killed as their explosive device went off prematurely in Taliban former stronghold the southern Helmand province with Lashkar Gah as its capital 555 km south of national capital Kabul on Saturday night, according to a statement of Interior Ministry released here Sunday.
"Four militants were busy to plant a mine on the road in Gereshk district of Helmand province last night when the device exploded prematurely killing all the four insurgents on the spot," the statement said.
Taliban militants fighting the government and are largely relying on suicide and roadside bombings have yet to make comment.
