A suicide bomber killed a guard and a 13-year-old boy outside a restaurant in the Afghan capital, leaving at least 18 people injured, dpa reported.
The suicide bomber drove an explosives-laden vehicle to attack the Afghan-owned French restaurant, officials said.
A Kabul police spokesman said an accomplice of the bomber was captured at the scene.
"Our preliminary investigation results show that only two attackers were involved in last night's restaurant attack," Basir Mujahid said.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed responsibility for the attack through Twitter.
