Daesh terrorists killed in US airstrikes

At least 11 elements affiliated to Daesh terrorist group were killed in the latest airstrikes conducted by the US forces in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan, according to Afghan news reports.
Airstrikes were carried out in Achin district on Tuesday and hit targets in Dab village and some arms and ammunition have been destroyed during the raids, Khama press reported, quoting the provincial government media office on Wednesday.
Nangarhar is among the relatively calm provinces in East of Afghanistan but anti-government militants have escalated their activities in some districts of the province during the recent years.
A similar airstrike killed a key member of the terror group in this province earlier this week.
