Somalia's Al Shabab Claims responsibility for bombing AMISOM base
African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) troops patrol following a blast close to the heavily fortified gates of the airport in Mogadishu

Extremist group al Shabab claimed on Tuesday responsibility for the attack on African Union Mission In Somalia (AMISOM).
The group spokesperson Abdel Aziz Abo Mosaab said the attack targeted the base where soldiers from Djibouti are stationed in retaliation for "immorality and massacres" committed by the troops, ABC network reported.
A suicide truck bomber struck an African Union base in Beledweyne village, northern the capital Mogadishu, with no casualities reported.
African Union Mission In Somalia, fighting extremists, includes troops from Burundi, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya and Uganda.
