Hamas military wing announces abduction of Israeli soldier north Gaza

Ezz-Eddin Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas Movement, said it kidnapped an Israeli soldier during a battle with the Israeli forces in the north of Gaza City at dawn on Sunday.
The brigades spokesman Abu Obaida said the abduction of soldier Shaul Aaron took place during a battle in the Tuffah neighborhood north of Gaza city.
A force of the brigades ambushed an Israeli armored vehicle and killed 14 soldiers and an officer before kidnapping Aaron, said Abu Obaida. The Israeli army did not yet confirm the abduction.
Abu Obaida challenged the Israeli government to disclose the fate of the abducted soldier and admit its losses in the "battles with the Palestinian fighters in Gaza Strip.
