
Dozens of Palestinians were injured in al-Quds district of Wadi al-Joz when clashes erupted with Israeli occupation forces.
A Palestinian teenager from al-Quds who was shot in the head by an Israeli soldier with a rubber-coated steel bulle'st a week ago succumbed to his wounds Sunday morning.
About 15 Palestinians were injured by rubber-coated bullets including a paramedic, while dozens suffered from suffocation after Israeli occupation forces fired tear gas on the protesters.
The teenager's family said Muhammad Abdul-Majid, 16, died this morning and his body expected to be taken to the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute for an autopsy to be undertaken by a Palestinian doctor and a lawyer.
Abdul-Majid was shot on Monday by Israeli forces in the head as he was talking on the phone in Wadi al-Joz.
The youth suffered a fractured skull as a result of the attack and at the time underwent a surgery at Hadassah Medical Center in al-Quds in order to stop bleeding and remove fragments caused by the impact of the bullet.
