Clashes Between Palestinian and Occupation Forces Brake out in Northern Jerusalem

An armed clash between Palestinians and Israeli occupation forces broke out at dawn Sunday on the Qalandia checkpoint, north Jerusalem, followed by an mobilization of the occupation forces at the surrounding areas of the checkpoint.
Local sources said, the Israeli military reinforcements arrived at Qalandia checkpoint after the clash taking place between Israeli soldiers and resistance fighters.
Hebrew reports said the troops stationed at the checkpoint in Qalandia came under fire by the Palestinians. No injuries were reported.
Occupation forces brought intense military reinforcements in the vicinity of the checkpoint, while Border Guard forces were deployed and began raiding shops along the main street of Ramallah-Jerusalem.
