Yemeni interior minister meets US outgoing ambassador

Interior Minister Abdul-Qader Qahtan met here on Monday with US ambassador to Yemen Gerald Feierstein on the occasion of ending his diplomatic tenure in the country. Qahtan praised the efforts Feierstein has made during carrying out his diplomatic mission in the country in all fields. The US ambassador said that Yemeni-American relations reached the height level in all areas during the period he spent in the country, hailing the Interior Ministry's efforts to achieve the security and stability in Yemen and combat terrorism, crime and sabotage, despite the transitional stage' difficulties.
