Yemeni FM sees off Russian ambassador to Yemen

Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi met on Wednesday with the Russian ambassador to Yemen Sergei Kozlov to bid farewell on the occasion of his diplomatic tenure in Yemen. In the meeting, al-Qirbi expressed Yemeni government’s thanks and appreciation for the distinct efforts exerted by the ambassador along with his counterparts of the ten countries sponsoring the Gulf initiative in reaching the political settlement in Yemen. For his part, Kozlov voiced his thanks and appreciation to the Foreign Minister for the cooperation and support he received during his term, noting to his confidence in the success of the transitional phase in Yemen.
