Yemeni FM receives credentials of newly- appointed British ambassador

Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi received on Saturday a copy of the credentials of the newly- appointed ambassador of the United Kingdom to Yemen, Jane Marriott. At the meeting, al-Qirbi welcomed the ambassador , confirming that the Foreign Ministry will present all aspects of cooperation to facilitate the ambassador’s tasks. For her part, the British ambassador confirmed that she would spare no effort to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries. The meeting touched on the latest developments at the Yemeni arena , especially the progress in the National Dialogue Conference, and the meeting of Group of Friends of Yemen scheduled to be held in London in September.
