Armed Forces Chief of Staff Major General Hassan Firouzabadi said the world bullying powers were bewildered by Iran’s defense progress. Talking to IRNA after the conclusion of “Velayat-90” war games, he said the West was after imposing a culture on the world according to which only the hegemonic powers get a full mark while the majority of the world countries fall below the line. He said now they are astonished to see that Iran is getting scores much higher than what they expect it so they are unable to understand the degree and depth of Iran’s scientific and technological achievements. The Major General further noted that the western world is also unhappy that Iran is using its military might not merely to defend its own nation but employs its strength to support the whole Islamic world and Muslim nations. He further commented on the “Velayat-90” war games which ended in Iran’s southern waters. The naval drills, which concluded Monday evening, began in the Hormuz Strait, including waters in the Sea of Oman and free waters in the Indian Ocean up to Gulf of Aden. Firouzabadi pointed to the brilliant Islamic Revolution in Iran and said people worldwide are awakened. He said the ongoing movement in the US proves that now all world nations are vigilant to seek their rights and justice.
