
Four Iraqi ranking officers, 14 soldiers, six policemen, and 11 Al-Sahwa (Awakening) forces were killed in three suicide attacks during a dinner banquet in Al-Tarmia town, north of Baghdad, on Tuesday. A Security source told KUNA that a suicide bomber wearing an explosive belt, detonated his explosives at the residence of Al-Sahwa commander in Al-Tarmia, minutes later two more suicide bombers attacked medics and rescuers in the chaotic scene. The source added one of the suicide bombers was wearing a military uniform. The town was completely surrounded by Iraqi forces and curfew was imposed, the source added.
