The Vice-President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman has instructed ministries and institutions concerned with human rights to tighten coordination among them to complete report about situation of human rights in Sudan which will be released for the first time within this year.
Chairing a meeting in the Republican Palace, Wednesday, of the High Committee assigned to follow up implementation of recommendations relevant to protection and promotion of situations of human rights in Sudan, the Vice-President indicated to importance of execution of recommendations presented by the Independent Expert before the UN Human Rights Council.
Director of Human Rights Department at Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Khalid Musa, said in press statements that the meeting discussed implementation of UN Human Rights Council's Universal Period Review on human rights in Sudan , besides discussing impleme4ntationof Sudan' strategy on protection and promotion of human rights.
