US condemns murder of 2 Israeli soldiers

The United States condemned the killing of two Israeil soldiers in two separate incidents in the West Bank. "Such violence and terror are unacceptable, and undermine efforts to establish the positive atmosphere the parties need to progress in peace negotiations," US Department of State Spokesperson Jen Psaki said in a statement. "We call on all parties to join in condemning these attacks," She added. One Israeli soldier died in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, after being shot by a suspected Palestinian gunman, according to Israeli officials. Another was kidnapped and killed by a Palestinian in the northern West Bank on Saturday.
