Islamabad - Irna

Political and defense analyst on Saturday asked the US to de-militarize its foreign policy objectives and adopt path of peace. Speaking to IRNA Lieutenant General (retd) Abdul Qayyum said that aggressive policies of the United States have placed the world in a difficult situation. He added that the US must end state terrorism and stop supporting the illegitimate Zionist regime. Agreeing with the remarks of Iran’s Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili about US activities against Iran, the analyst said that there is no other view to that the US is behind terrorist activities in Iran. Saeed Jalili made the remarks while addressing rallies marking the 13th Aban Day, National Day of Campaign against Global Arrogance, near the former US embassy. Head of Iranian Foreign Ministry’s North American Affairs Department has also told the Swiss envoy that Iran has solid evidence about US involvement in terrorist activities against Iran. Abdul Qayyum expressing his views said that Iran has been a victim of hostile US approach. He said that a renowned American author Paul Craig in his article had also condemned American crimes in the world. The analyst said that US is responsible for gross human rights violation across the glob. He advised America to quit hostile policy towards Muslim countries. “US has to understand that it cannot rule the whole world,” viewed the intellectual. Abdul Qayyum was of the view that US cannot dictate Muslim states on gunpoint. The defense analyst asked US to de-militarize its foreign policy objectives and adopt path of peace. He said that Iran is a brave nation and is fully capable to counter western propaganda. “I salute courage of Iranians,” said retired general. He also endorsed the remarks of Iran’s Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili that the soft war against Iran has made the country stronger. The analyst viewed that difficulties have made Iran a refined state. “You cannot pressurize Iran by cheap tricks,” Abdul Qayyum added.
