UN envoy for Yemen meets Ansarullah, GPC representatives in Kuwait

UN Special Envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed held a session of talks with a delegation of the Ansarullah movement and the General People's Congress (GPC) within the framework of the Kuwait-hosted peace consultations.
The two sides discussed the main issues of the coming period in Yemen and the mechanisms necessary to bridge differences over the political, humanitarian and economic aspects.
On Saturday, the UN envoy had talks with the Yemeni government delegation on a host of issues, topped by military pullouts, the handover of weapons and the restoration of the state institutions.
