UN Special Envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed held on Tuesday talks with representatives of the Yemeni government, Ansar Allah group and the General People's Congress to outline a strategic framework for the settlement of the issue of the Amaliqa military base, which was seized by Houthi militants earlier.
In a statement, the UN envoy said the general framework established by the UN paves the way for a comprehensive strategic and political path that could bring about security and political stability.
