UAE envoy in Tanzania attends Zayed Future Energy Prize's ceremony

UAE Ambassador to Tanzania Abdullah Ibrahim Al Suwaidi today attended a ceremony hosted by the Zayed Future Energy Prize to honour Off Grid Electric, winner of the prize for 2016 in the Small and Medium Enterprise category.
Al Suwaidi congratulated the company on winning the coveted prize and referred to another Tanzanian company, M-KOPA, which won the prize previously.
At the end of the ceremony, the General Manager of the Off-Grid Electric gave a presentation about the company's future outlook and thanked the UAE for the importance given to the future energy sector through the Zayed Future Energy Prize.
