
Mohammed Ibrahim Al Juwaied, UAE Ambassador to Norway, has participated in a working lunch hosted by Arab Ambassadors Group in Norway in the presence of President of the Norwegian Parliament, Olemic Thommessen.
They discussed co-operation between the Arab countries and Norway. Thommessen confirmed the importance of developing and increasing co-operation between the Arab parliaments and the Norwegian Parliament.
He also spoke about the role of the Islamic civilisation in the renaissance and development of the world. He also expressed his regret at the cultural setback due to the wars, and deformation by extremists and militants.
He also pointed out that religions are similar in their call for tolerance and peaceful co-existence, but the deformation is due to the presence of militants there.
