
Turkish police arrested eight military personnel during an inspection of the fuel supply command at the Incirlik airbase, southern Turkey, as part of ongoing investigations following the failed coup attempt last Friday, sources at the Adana prosecutor office said.
Chief prosecutor and five assistants as well as police forces carried out the inspection, and arrested the military personnel for questioning. The arrestees were also examined medically.
Aircraft tanker, which refueled the F-16 jets which were flying at low attitude during the failed coup bid, took off from Incirlik.
