Turkish Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek warned on Wednesday that Muslims kill each other with the weapons and technology of other states but interestingly those who supply the weaponry for the conflicts in the Middle East are the same who try to arbitrate the parties of the conflict and bring peace to the region, meeting the Kuwaiti Parliament President Ali al-Ganim. Cicek also stated that the Kuwaiti delegation are the first guests of the Turkish Parliament at the opening of legislative year and the first country that the Kuwaiti delegation visited following the elections was Turkey. Speaking at the meeting, Kuwaiti Parliament Speaker Marzuk Ali al-Ganim stated that they appreciate the attitude of Turkey in the region and Turkey has a significant place for Kuwaiti people because they have not forgotten the response of Turkey at the very beginning of the attack of Iraq on Kuwait in 1991. Al Ganim also stated that they are ready to support Turkey in all international platforms. On the other hand, Ganim was also received on Wednesday by Turkish President Abdullah Gul as well. The meeting held in Cankaya Presidential Palace was closed to press.
