
Turkey's Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has been in an intense diplomacy traffic after Wednesday's massacre of hundreds of civilians in Egypt. Davutoglu talked on the phone to his counterparts in South Africa and Qatar, and EU High Representative Catherine Ashton. Turkey and South Africa have same concerns and views concerning recent developments in Egypt according to the phone conversation between foreign ministers, said diplomatic sources. Both ministers focused on the release of elected President Mohamed Morsi along with all the political detainees and lifting the emergency state in the country. Turkish minister also shared views on the matter with his Qatari counterpart and EU High Representative Ashton. Stopping the use of force on civilians, lifting the state of emergency immediately, and things to be done in order to bring all the parts together via dialogue were handled during the phone conversations.
