
Turkish Development Minister Cevdet Yilmaz on Thursday met Turkmenistan's President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow in capital Ashgabat. Berdimuhamedov welcomed Yilmaz, who is in Turkmenistan to attend the International Energy Security Conference, in Oghuzhan Palace. Stating that the security of energy transfer lines was a critical problem, Berdimuhamedov said that the problem could be solved if they could transfer their gas via Azerbaijan to Turkey with the decisive stand of Turkey, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan. Yilmaz, also delivering a speech and said Turkey and Turkmenistan handled bilateral relations in high levels within the "one nation, two states" understanding.
