Turkish army seizes quantity of chemical agents on Syria borders

The Turkish armed forced intercepted a three-vehicle convoy loaded with sulfur and other suspected chemical weapon agents from Syria. The convoy illegally crossed into in Reyhanli town, Hatay province, south Turkey, on Saturday, the military command said in a statement on Monday. The drivers of the three vehicles defied the orders of the Reyhanli Gendarmerie General Command to stop, promoting the latter to open fire at them. The drivers and passengers got down from the vehicles and fled back into Syria; only one of them was arrested, according to the statement.
