Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has arrived in Iran and has met with his Iranian counterpart as well as Iran's vice president at the outset of his two-day tour. The airplane carrying Davutoglu landed in Tehran on late Wednesday. He met with Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi before holding talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi on bilateral relations and latest regional and international developments. Davutoglu will also hold a joint press conference with Salehi in Tehran. The Turkish foreign ministry announced in a statement that Davutoglu would begin his two-day official tour on Wednesday. Turkish Foreign Ministry also said that the talks between Davutoglu and Iranian officials will focus on Iran's nuclear program as well as developments in Iraq and Syria. The Turkish minister is also scheduled to meet with Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili on Thursday.
