
Turkey's Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek arrived in the Iranian capital of Tehran on Saturday for talks with officials of the Islamic republic, Press TV reported. Heading a high-ranking parliamentary delegation, Cicek arrived in Tehran at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart Ali Larijani. During his two-day visit, Cicek is expected to hold talks with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Larijani and other Iranian officials on recent regional developments, according to the report. "The latest regional developments and expansion of parliamentary ties and (relations) in other fields are among issues which will be discussed during the meetings," Hossein Sheikholeslam, Larijani's advisor on international affairs, was quoted as saying.
