
Turkish authorities have arrested three people, suspected of belonging to ISIS, in Elbeyli city of Kilis, near the Syrian border, while attempting to infiltrate from the Syrian side into the Turkish territories.
According to security sources, security forces arrested three people on Sunday during a crackdown in the village of Alahan, in Elbeyli.
The sources said that the detainees were from different nationalities, adding that investigations were under way.
Turkey is tightening its security measures on its 900km border with Syria to prevent infiltration into Syria to join ISIS and to prevent ISIS members to infiltrate into Turkey.
