The Justice Ministry is holding next September 19-23, in collaboration with the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the International Organisation of French-Speaking World, an international congress on "the International Criminal Court." The event, to be held in the northern suburb of Tunis, will be attended by internationally renowned law figures as well as representatives of several Arab countries and many Tunisian judges and lawyers. The congress will focus on a series of issues relating notably to the fight against impunity and encouraging countries to subscribe to the Rome Statutes, the ICC founding treaty, in addition to a better presentation of the ICC and its fields of intervention.
