Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has won the US presidential election after fierce competition with Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton to become the 45th president of the United States of America.
Donald Trump was born on June 4th 1946 in Queens, New York. His father, Frederick Trump, was an American real estate developer, and his mother Mary Anne Trump was of Scottish decent.
Due to his father's business, Trump led a very rich and luxurious childhood in the Queens, he was an energetic and assertive child which led to his suspension from school at the age of 13. His parents then decided to send him to the New York Military Academy, hoping to discipline and channel his energy into a positive manner. After graduating from the military academy, Trump went to the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Finance because it possessed one of the country's few real estate departments, which was his father's business specialty.
Trump is considered to be the first elected president of the United States without experience in a political position or a position in a senate's office. However, the billionaire has involved himself in many presidential elections in the past by financially supporting candidates from both political parties, Democratic and Republic. He was considered one of the first to support Republican Ronald Reagan's candidacy in 1980 and supported Republican Mitt Romney's candidacy back in 2012 against Barack Obama.
On several occasions, Trump announced his interest to run for presidency in the years 1988, 2004, and 2012, in addition to announcing his will to run as mayor to the city of New York in 2006 and 2014, however, he never officially filed for candidacy at any of those elections. In 2000, Trump won in the presidential primaries of the state of California, representing the Reform Party, hoping to create a third competition against the widely spread Democratic and Republic parties. However, he withdrew from the elections due to internal conflicts within the Reform party.
Trump officially announced his presidential candidacy last July after winning more than 1,237 numbers for the majority of delegates in the Republican party. The journey of the Trump campaign featured many surprises towards his opinion regarding Muslims and refugees. His speech about the Russian, the Middle Eastern and Asian agenda was considered fearful.
Trump's many controversial speeches encouraged Barack Obama, to publicly express his fear, if the Republican were to win the presidential race.
Donald Trump will finally be inaugurated as President on January 20th, 2017, giving him the right to reside in the White house which is currently being prepared for his arrival.
