Abu Dhabi, April 10, 2016 – The Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC), the master developer of major tourism, cultural and residential destinations in Abu Dhabi, announced today its participation at Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2016, the annual real-estate event, with a showcase of its rich portfolio of projects on Saadiyat island.
One of the company’s most significant launches at this year’s event will be the launch of Saadiyat Lagoons District, a 6 million square-metre nature-inspired, mixed-use development featuring mixed residences, extensive parks and lakes, diverse community facilities including pathways for walking, running, cycling, and horse-back riding, and more.
The stand will highlight TDIC’s high-end residential communities, educational, hospitality and cultural projects in Abu Dhabi and on Saadiyat, the latter of which has become an increasingly appealing destination for residents, tourists and investors.
Potential investors and homeowners will be given the opportunity to register their interest for the upcoming sale of Lagoons District Phase 1. Visitors will receive updated information on the current developments taking place on Saadiyat, including the internationally-anticipated Louvre Abu Dhabi in addition to a taste of Louvre Abu Dhabi’s famous rain of light effect through light simulation.
Ali Majed Al Mansoori, TDIC’s Chairman of the Board, said, " We are pleased to once again be a part of Cityscape Abu Dhabi, which allows us to raise awareness about our projects while also reaching a wide range of potential investors and homeowners. This year, we anticipate a high level of interest and demand for our portfolio, which will be enhanced with the addition of our latest project, the Saadiyat Lagoons District which we are announcing during this key real estate event."
In addition to Cityscape Abu Dhabi’s role in highlighting the major real estate developments, the introduction of the new property law has served to safeguard the interests of investors and developers in the industry. "TDIC has welcomed the new rules and regulations pertaining to the new property law as we see it has provided further protection for investors," Al Mansoori added.
The appeal of Saadiyat today is due to the exclusive lifestyle that the island offers through its leisure, cultural and tourism facilities, as well as what it offers its residential community through a superb mix of luxury villas, high-end townhouses and elite apartments. To date, TDIC has developed a range of high-end properties on Saadiyat including the Saadiyat Beach Residences and the Saadiyat Beach Villas.
All these residential properties enjoy a prime location next door to a collection of international five-star resorts, such as the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort and the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi. The island’s top-class developments – such as Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, the Saadiyat Beach Club, and the upcoming Louvre Abu Dhabi – have turned Saadiyat into one of the most attractive residential addresses in Abu Dhabi.
Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC) will be located at AC10, between Halls 4 and 5, at Cityscape Abu Dhabi, taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from April 12th - 14th.
