Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Egyptian armed forces Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi conferred here on Thursday with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas , now visiting Cairo, on the latest palestinian developments, bilateral relations and efforts made to achieve the Palerstinian National Reconciliation accord . Palestine''s ambassador in Cairo Dr. Barakat Al-Farra who is also his country''s permanent delegate to the arab league said in a press statement issued here Today that the meeting falls within President Abbas''due keenness to consult with the Egyptian and Arab leaders concering the constant moves designed to support the Palestinian cause , the recognition of the Palestinian state and The Middle East peace process in addition to the meetings Cairo hosts to explore mechanisms for implementing the Palestinian National accord signed on May, 4, 2011. The sessions of the palestinian dialogue held under Egypt''s partonage over the past two days have achieved tangible and significant results'''', said Al Farra.
