Syrian opposition bloc meets in Istanbul, discuss participation in Geneva II
Istanbul - KUNA
Members of the general authority of the National Coalition Of Syrian Revolution and Opposition Forces started a two-day closed-door meeting in Istanbul Sunday to discuss participation in the Geneva II conference. Coalition chief Ahmad Al-Jarba addressed the opening of the meeting and talked about the situation in Syria and outcome of his recent meetings with officials of different countries, a statement by the coalition press office said. The participants discussed the election of the coalition chief, his three deputies and secretary general. The second day will witness discussions over the participation in the Geneva II conference, due on January 22.
