Syrian army ambushes scores of terrorists in Damascus

A unit of the Syrian armed forces ambushed early Wednesday a group of al-Nusra Front terrorists who tried to infiltrate into the Eastern Ghouta and attack a military checkpoint in Damascus Countryside. The state news agency quoted a military source as saying that all members of the group were killed and their weapons and ammunition were seized, which included Israeli-made rifles and machine guns, BKC machineguns and RPG launchers. The source noted that terrorists with non-Syrian nationalities were among the dead.
