Syria: Large groups of terrorists killed in several provinces

Units of the Syrian army killed and injured large groups of terrorists, including non-Syrians, in several provinces throughout the country. An official source said the army units destroyed a terrorists' den along with their weapons and ammunition inside and killed all the terrorists in the area in Tallet al-Mistah in Barzeh neighborhood, while another army unit killed all members of a terrorist group in the area surrounding al-Manashir roundabout in Joubar. The source added that other army units destroyed several more terrorists' dens near Daya company in Harasta. In Mdai'a Jamalo area in Erbin, other army units killed several terrorists and destroyed their weapons and ammunition. The source pointed out the army units continued hunting terrorists in al-Baharia and Deir Salman farms in Eastern Ghouta, killing a number of terrorists, including Saad al-Darkhbani, leader of a terrorist group called "al-Ghaouth Brigade". In the Southern areas of Damascus countryside, the army units carried out operations against terrorists' dens and gatherings in Hejera and Babila towns, killing several terrorists, including Afghan Jaaj al-Imam. The source added that an army unit destroyed terrorists' concentration center in al-Hajar al-Aswad, while another army unit killed a number of terrorists in al-Hussinia town, killing several terrorists, including Jordanian Mosaab Khweider. In al-Dyabia town, the army units killed all members of a terrorist group and destroyed their weapons and ammunition. The notorious Iraqi terrorist leader, Muslit al-Jbori, was identified among the dead. Army units inflict heavy losses upon al-Nusra' Front terrorists in Aleppo and its countryside Units of the armed forces clashed with terrorist groups affiliated to al-Nusra Front in several neighborhoods of Aleppo and its countryside, killing and injuring scores of them. An official source said that the army units continued advance in al-Rashdin neighborhood in Aleppo city and took control over a number of building in the same neighborhood. The source added that other army units clashed with terrorist groups in Bustan al-Qaser neighborhood, inflicting heavy losses upon them, while other army units killed terrorists who were stationed in al-Qabakib park in al-Kalasa area. The source pointed out that other army units killed and injured several terrorists near Saif Factory and in the area surrounding al-Kindi hospital, in addition to destroying gatherings of al-Nusra Front terrorists in Bshntra village and Kafer Da'eil in Aleppo countryside. In the Western countryside of Aleppo, other army units killed scores of terrorists near the sugar factory in al-Mansoura and Kafer Hamra, while other army units clashed with terrorist groups affiliated to al-Nusra Front in Khan al-Assal and the farms surrounding it, the cemetery and the Journalists' farms in the Southwestern countryside of Aleppo, killing scores of terrorists. In the same context, the army units destroyed terrorists' weapons and ammunition in al-Atareb and Urom al-Kubra areas, in addition to killing and injuring several terrorists. Army eliminates terrorists in Homs and its countryside Army units continued making progress in Bab Houd neighborhood in Homs city, eliminating a number of terrorists and establishing control over buildings which terrorists had been using to store weapons and attack locals. Army units destroyed terrorist hideouts in the neighborhoods of al-Qusuour, al-Qarabis and Jouret al-Shiyah, leaving many terrorists dead, while other units repelled terrorist groups which attempted to sneak into the Teachers Housing area and al-Bayyada neighborhood, destroying the terrorists' weapons and equipment. In Homs countryside, Army units killed a number of terrorists, wounded others and destroyed their hideouts in the areas of al-Rastan, Khirbet al-Nu'man, Jeb Jaradm Bayoun valley, Mantar al-Maisa, Talbiseh, al-Ghanto, Kisin, Beit Hajjo, and Ein Hussein. In the town of al-Sukhneh in Palmyra countryside, the Army arrested six terrorists from al-Nusra Front after restoring security and stability to the town earlier on Tuesday. Arwa Abdulkarim al-Ali, Ahmad Mousa Atia al-Omran and Mohammad Khair Barakat were identified among the dead terrorists. Attempted car bomb explosion foiled in Daraa countryside A terrorist attempt by a suicide bomber to blow up a car bomb near a military checkpoint in the Eastern neighborhood of Busra al-Sham city in Daraa countryside was thwarted. An official source said that the checkpoint personnel spotted the car that was heading fast towards the checkpoint and targeted it. The suicide bomber, Malek Issa was killed, with no casualties among citizens reported. Army units destroy al-Nusra Front concentrations in Hama countryside Units of the armed forces carried out operations against al-Nusra Front terrorists' gatherings in al-Hweiz and Rasha towns in al-Ghab area in Hama. An official source said that the army units killed and injured several terrorists, in addition to destroying their weapons and equipment in al-Hweiz town. The source added that another army unit killed all members of a terrorist group affiliated to al-Nusra Front who were firing mortar shells on the citizens in Rasha town. Army units destroyed hideouts for al-Nusra Front terrorists in the towns of Zour al-Hesa and al-Traimseh, eliminating a number of terrorists and destroying their equipment. Army units confront terrorists in Idlib countryside Army units repelled terrorists who attempted to attack a military checkpoint in the town of Khan Shekhoun in Idlib countryside, killing most of the terrorists including Ibrahim Aboudi, Abu Sakhr Aboudi and Bassam Serman. Other units confronted terrorists who attempted to block the road between al-Ghab and Jisr al-Shughour in the areas of al-Sheikh al-Sindian and al-Sermanye, killing and injuring a number of terrorists. Army prevents terrorists from blocking road in Raqqa province In Raqqa countryside, army units clashed with a terrorist group which attempted to block the road between Athriya and Raqqa city, leaving all the group's members dead or injured.
