Around 2000 police officers will be on the streets of Stockholm when US President Obama arrives at the beginning of September, Swedish Radio News reports. The Swedish Secret Service (SAPO) will be responsible for protecting the President, while police will be in charge of setting up roadblocks and escorting the motorcade as it drives through Stockholm. The President will also be accompanied by his own bodyguards, according to a press release from S?PO, but much of the details of the security operation will be kept under wraps. President Obama will spend a couple of days in Sweden on the 4th and 5th of September, when he will meet with Nordic leaders before heading on to a G20 meeting in St Petersburg.
