
H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, attended today, at the American University of Sharjah, the 3rd edition of the Sharjah Arab Photo Forum and opened the parallel photo exhibition, featuring more than 88 works for Emirati, GCC and Arab photographers . The event, organised by the Arab Union of Photographers, is being held under the patronage of Sharjah Ruler. In his remarks during the ceremony, Adeeb Shabaan, President of the Arab Union of Photographers, said ''It is a pleasure to me that our celebration today coincides with the celebrations of the Arab and Islamic nations by ''Sharjah is the Capital of Islamic Culture for the year 2014", the good land, which was blessed by Sheikh Sultan who carries love to this dear land." Later Sheikh Sultan along with Adeeb Shabaan honoured the wining photographers. Sheikh Sultan also honoured sponsors and the contributing departments in the success of the exhibition, including the American University of Sharjah, major Malls and other sponsors. A number of officials attended the event.
