Egyptian navy forces foil illegal migration attempt of 281 persons

Military Spokesman for the Armed Forces Mohamed Samir said on Tuesday border guard forces managed to foil an infiltration attempt by 281 people of different nationalities.
Samir said in a statement that border guard troops of the Northern Military Zone were capable of nabbing 254 persons while trying to illegally immigrate near the districts of Rashid and Abu Qir.
Troops at the Western Military Zone arrested 11 people as they attempted to illegally immigrate close to Salloum area, he added.
The border guard forces are continuing efforts to deal blows to criminals, gangs and drug traffickers who target the Egyptian national security, according to the statement.
