
President Abdel Fattah el Sisi on Tuesday received a telephone call from Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta which tackled ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation and the latest regional developments in the African continent.
During the contact, Kenyatta said Egypt and Kenya have profound relations, adding his country is keen on boosting cooperation with Egypt in the various fields.
The Kenyan president also said Kenya appreciates Egypt's efforts to activate cooperation programs with Kenya.
For his part, Sisi said Egypt's open-door policy toward African countries tops priorities of the country's foreign policy.
Sisi hails Kenya's positions which support Egypt at different international and regional forums.
It is important to maintain work to promote ties with special focus on the economic domain, added Sisi.
