
Member of Fatah Central Committee and Commissioner of International Relations, Nabil Shaath today briefed Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the latest political developments and tomorrow's visit of the U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry to the region, as well as Palestinian efforts to revive the peace process. In a press statement, Shaath said the Palestinian-Russian joint Commission held a meeting in the Russian capital Moscow, during which addressed the bilateral relations, mutual support, the Russian recognition of the State of Palestine, support of Palestinian participation in various international organizations, in addition to topics of scholarships and cultural and trade exchanges, adding the Russian side realizes the Palestinian demands and serious political negotiations between the two sides will begin.
