
Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, the Minister of Culture and Information, received at the ministry's camp in Arafat shrine this evening, the official guests of the Ministry, including media representatives, cultural and intellectual prominent figures, researchers, men of knowledge and science from Arab, Islamic and friendly countries who are performing Hajj and taking part in the coverage of the event. Addressing the gathering, the minister welcomed them, wishing them a good stay and easy journey. He drew the attention that his ministry has provided all means to make Hajj easy and smooth for its guests, on one hand and to help them make their own audiovisual and written coverage back home, citing the state-of-the-art Saudi TV, broadcasting and SPA services. For their part, the guests expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Ministry of Culture and Information for the warm welcome and generous hospitality accorded to them during their stay in Saudi Arabia, confirming that they are going to convey these noble feelings and this marvelous development and generous services the Kingdom is rendering to pilgrims without waiting somebody to reward it except Allah Almighty. They request the minister to convey their thanks to the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, his Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier for the care and follow-up given to the guests of God who come to Saudi Arabia from all parts of the world. The reception party was attended by Abdulrahman Al-Hazza'a, President of the Broadcasting and TV Commission, and Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein, the President of the Saudi Press Agency, and a number of officials.
