Salva Kiir and al-Bashir hold talks

President of South Sudan State Salva Kiir Mayardit held talks here today with Sudanese President Omar Al Bashir who arrived in Juba earlier in the day on a several hours’ visit to South Sudan. The Sudanese President’s press secretary Imad Sid Adhmed said President Al Bashir will hold bilateral summit with Mayardit which will focus on the situation in South Sudan and means of addressing and containing the current crisis in order to avert its exacerbation. He added that a high-level military, security and political delegation is accompanying the Sudanese President to contribute to the settlement of the crisis and to develop relations with South Sudan and maintain its stability amid the circumstances it is going through.
