Russian, Iranian deputy foreign ministers to discuss Russian-US deal on Syria

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov will discuss the Russian-US ceasefire agreement on Syria with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Jaberi Ansari during consultations slated for Wednesday, Russian Foreign Ministry's Director of the Second Asian Department Zamir Kabulov said Tuesday, according to Sputnik News.
"It is currently the number one issue, it will inevitably [be discussed]," Kabulov told RIA Novosti, responding to a question on the subject of the discussion.
Moscow and Tehran have no disagreements on the accord, he added.
On September 9, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry announced a new plan aimed at reducing violence in Syria, which includes a new nationwide ceasefire.
